Oh god, i i already returned another headphone and i bothered my mother so much to convince her to let me buy me this headphones, i feel bad. I'm getting kind of disappointed, some features of this headphone is great, bass is kinda cool, sound volume is LOUD, mic is good, comfy etc but i was expecting some terrifying quality difference compared to my old headphone but nah. i listened to a song, and this may seem funny but i actually feel like the old one plays sound far more in depth, with the old one it says Aaaaaa aaaaaa in the background i can hear it clearly, but with the msi i can barely hear it, i checked the settings i noticed it's 16bit 48khz DVD quality, my old one had 3.5 mm connection, i have a realtek soundcard and it was 24bit 48 studio quality, is it because of THIS? Wait damn i think i understand what you mean.ĭude, just now noticed something, i compared this to my old XP-HS852(nothing fancy or famous it was quite normal. this was really confusingĪnd if possible please provide a file or something that lets you test 7.1. what's the point of this utility if it's basically the CD content uploaded into MSI Website. BUT the funny thing is that the Utility, the drivers, and the files on the cd are ALL THE SAME THING and all have WORKED the same for me. Something that really confused me is that: i searched the MSI Forum and found a thread about the exact same issue, didn't solve the problem,but in one of the replies someone said you need to dl and install the utility from the msi website, another person said that the utility or drivers from msi website doesn't let you enable 7.1 simulation and that you need to install the stuff on the cd provided.
just says it works as stereo after unboxing to use 7.1 you need to install necessary drivers. The manual for the product also doesn't state an exact instruction to activate it. tho it's worth mentioning that the device was recognized as a Speakers (2- USB Audio device) so i don't know if it's related.Īlso there was no option to test 7.1 in the software so i couldn't make sure of it. i can't configure it as 7.1 in windows either.
